6/29 sunny Friday

Today is the last day of school. School finished at nine o’clock. After school, I went to Kaoshung with my mom and brother Roy. The reason we went there was because my mother’s students had a competition there, and the place they rased at was in a big department store. So we bought something for our trip to Beijing. It was fun. (We came back very late about 11 at midnight.)

6/30 suuny Saturday

Today was a normal Saturday. I slept until 11:00 this morning, read books in the afternoon and went to class at night. (Hogie gave me a note book. It is very nice but not nice for me because I have to write my diary in English everyday.)

7/1 sunny Sunday

Today we packed luggage all day, from morning to night. We will leave at 2:00am tomorrow, so we can’t sleep today.

7/2 sunny Monday

It’s time to go to Beijing! We got on the bus at two o’clock in the morning. Then we ate breakfast at five o’clock. We got on the airplane at eight. We flew to Hong Kong and took another plane to Beijing. When we arrived, it was already four o’clock, so we went to a famous restaurant. The food there (hot pot) was very delicious. Next we went to the hotel and went to a department store at nihgt.

7/3 sunny Tuesday

We got up at 6:00 this morning. Next, we went to the famous “Tianmen Square”. It is very beautiful, but there were a lot of people. Then, we went into the Imperial Palace. It is very big. Here was the place that the Chinese Emperor worked and lived before. After lunch, we went to “the temple of Heaven”. This was the place that the Emperor prayed. It was fun, but we walked so much that my legs were sore. Our dinner was great. Then, we went to a road that had a lot of shops. After the shopping, my friend, brother and I swam in the swimming pool at the hotel. It’s cool.

7/4 sunny Wednesday

Today, we went to The Great Wall. It’s beautiful and we had a lot of fun. I climbed and climbed …… Finally, I was on the top. I am very happy. I felt very tired when I came back to the bus. In the afternoon, we went to the Emperor tomb. We had a good day today.

7/5 sunny Thursday

Today, I went to the Chinhuag University. Then, we went to a old palace that were burned by the English and French army. After lunch, we went to the summer palace. It is very beautiful.

7/6 sunny Friday

We saw pandas today in the morning. There were six pandas in the zoo. They were cute. Then, we went to Beihi part, another place for the Emperor. Next we went to a market. We swam in the hotel’s swimming pool tonight.

7/7 sunny Saturday
Today is the last today in Beijing. We went to another market. Then, we went on the airplane and back to Taiwan.

Kimi Raikkonen put in a faultless performance to win Sunday's Belgian Grand Prix from Ferrari team mate Felipe Massa. The result means the Italian marque are assured of the 2007 constructors' title.

Raikkonen is now 13 points behind Hamilton with a maximum of 30 (Japan China Brazil) available leaving the title race finely poised.

ATP - 12TH GRAND SLAM TITLE!

Roger won his fourth consecutive US Open championship and 12th overall Grand Slam title today! He defeated Novak Djokovic 7-6 (7-4), 7-6 (7-2), 6-4 at the National Tennis Center in New York and is now only two Grand Slam titles short of Pete Sampras's all-time record.

"Of course it's great to have been able to capture this title once again. I was rather nervous before the final and I know that Novak plays excellent tennis," Roger said after his victory. "It is the largest stadium in the world and also the hardest to win in. Right now I'm just glad it's over and I can party with my team, go to bed and rest for a few days."

The 20-year-old Djokovic, appearing in the final of a major for the first time, was unable to convert seven set points over the first two sets. Roger won the title on his second match point.

Roger is the first man to win four straight US Open titles since professional players were admitted to the tournament in 1968, the start of the Open Era. Bill Tilden won the event six years in a row from 1920-25.
